Actor Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed that he will be seen in the role of Lord Parashuram along with Lord Ram in the film Ramayana. In an interview given to ‘Collider’ in Los Angeles, when Ranbir was asked how he was portraying two different characters like Lord Ram and Parashuram through body language and voice, he said that Lord Vishnu has had many incarnations, of which Lord Ram is an incarnation, while before him Lord Parashuram was also an incarnation. Ranbir said that getting the opportunity to play the role of Lord Ram was a big thing, but playing the role of Lord Parshuram was an even more special experience for him. He further said that as an actor it is important to understand not only the body language but also the spirituality of the role and its emotions. He believes that acting starts from here. Ranbir also said that before shooting the film Ramayana, he worked on understanding these characters for a whole year. He tried to know who these characters are, what their thinking is and what their objectives are. Ranbir used to tell stories of Ramayana to his daughter. Ranbir also told in a media interaction in Los Angeles that he considers himself lucky that he got a chance to be a part of the film Ramayana. He got this opportunity at the same time when he became a father. He told that his daughter is three and a half years old. When he was playing the character of Lord Ram, he used to narrate stories of Ramayana to his daughter after returning home. Ranbir said that his daughter is very curious about this subject. She asked him if he shot with Hanuman ji or Sita ji today. He told that this shows his interest towards Ramayana.
