Punjabi origin woman Jasveen Sangha, famous as Ketamine Queen in America, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison. In sentencing her on April 8, Los Angeles Federal Court Judge Sherrilyn Peace Garnett said Sangha lived a life of luxury by supplying drugs to high-profile clients. He had a direct role in the death of famous actor Matthew Perry of Friends series. Perry died of a ketamine overdose in 2023. Jasveen herself confessed that she had sold ketamine to Perry. Sangha’s family has connections to Phillaur near Jalandhar. Jasveen Sangha, belonging to the Sangha village of Jalandhar, was born on 22 July 1983 in London (UK). Mother Neelam Singh and father Baljit Singh Chhokar are industrialists. The grandparents run a fashion retail business in East London and are a royal family. The family later moved to Calabasas, California, where Jasween spent her childhood. She is a dual citizen of America and Britain. Sangha’s lawyer clarified that the news of their relationship are just rumours. In fact, Sangha was the main drug supplier, who delivered ketamine to Perry through middlemen. Perry never had to talk to Sangha directly. Ketamine drug sold to Perry’s assistant In October 2023, Sangha sold ketamine to Perry’s assistant, which led to Perry’s death. Despite attempts to destroy evidence, Sangha confessed to his crime in September 2025. On April 8, the court found him guilty of drug selling and Perry’s death and sentenced him to 15 years in prison.
