Bollywood film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has earned Rs 100 crore at the box office even before its release. The film has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in worldwide advance booking (pre-sales). By the end of business on Saturday, the total global advance collection of the film stood at around Rs 101 crore. Of this, Rs 44 crore has come from India and Rs 57 crore has come from overseas markets. The record of Baahubali 2 was broken and tremendous craze for the film is being seen in the foreign markets. ‘Dhurandhar’ has changed the pre-sales records not only of Bollywood but also of Indian cinema. In Australia, the film has broken the years-old record of ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ by earning 1.05 million Australian dollars. Huge demand in overseas markets: The demand for films in overseas markets is so high that theaters are already full (housefull) at many places. Advance booking in North America has reached about $3.40 million. Trade experts believe that it will soon touch the figure of 4 to 5 million dollars. In view of the huge crowd of viewers, distributors and exhibitors are preparing to increase more shows of the film on Monday and Tuesday. Eyeing the Rs 200 crore club, the advance booking of the film will easily cross Rs 150 crore at the worldwide level. If the performance of the film in India is as per expectations, then it seems possible that the pre-sales figure may reach Rs. 200 crores. Earlier, films like ‘Pushpa 2’, ‘Leo’ and ‘RRR’ have been close to this figure. However, if ‘Dhurandhar’ reaches there, it will be the first film to achieve this milestone. Dhurandhar also got a great response. Earlier, the first part of the film Dhurandhar had performed brilliantly at the Indian as well as international box office. The film grossed approximately ₹1,303 crore worldwide. The film’s gross collection in India stood at ₹1,005.85 crore, while the net collection was approximately ₹836.95 crore. With this it became the highest-grossing Hindi single-language film in India. The film Dhurandhar got tremendous response in foreign markets also. It did a business of around ₹299.5 crore in overseas. Especially in America and Canada, the film left behind the record of ‘Bahubali 2’ by earning more than ₹ 193.06 crore. Interestingly, the film achieved this huge success even though it was not allowed to be released in the Gulf countries. Apart from this, ‘Dhurandhar’ also became the highest grossing ‘A’ rated film of Indian cinema.
