Actress Aneet Padda’s sister Reet called Dhurandhar 2 a propaganda film and criticized actress Priyanka Chopra’s silence on the war issue during the Oscar ceremony. After which Reet replied and wrote that she usually does not participate in debates on social media, but this time she decided to express her views on every issue. Talking about justifying the demonetization decision, Reet said that Dhurandhar 2 shows a narrative in favor of the government and an attempt has been made to justify decisions like demonetization through political speeches. He also raised questions on The Kashmir Files and The Kerala Story. According to Reet, the figures shown in these films have been exaggerated, which work to create a narrative against a community. He also said that films like Punjab ’95, which show different political viewpoints, face difficulties in release. Also commented on Priyanka Chopra: Reet also commented on Priyanka Chopra’s behavior at the Oscars. He said that Priyanka had the opportunity to stand against the war on one occasion, but she did not react. She also said that if her sister gets such an opportunity, she hopes that she will keep her word. Reet said that she wants public figures to express their opinions openly on social and political issues. He says that his protest is not against any person, but against those thoughts which promote violence by bringing religion into politics.
