Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has bought another big property in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Ram Temple. He has purchased 2.67 acres of land from ‘House of Abhinandan Lodha’ (HoABL). The price of this deal is Rs 35 crore. The company gave official information about this investment on March 6. This is Amitabh Bachchan’s third major investment in Ayodhya. This land is located near the 75-acre ‘The Saryu’ project. Rajesh Yadav, Managing Director of Amitabh’s company ‘AB Corp Ltd’ has finalized this entire deal. This is Amitabh Bachchan’s fourth real estate project with Abhinandan Lodha Group. Amitabh Bachchan, who has purchased three plots in the last one and a half years, is continuously investing in Ayodhya. Earlier in May 2025, he had purchased a 25,000 square feet plot near ‘The Saryu’ for Rs 40 crore. At the same time, in the year 2024, he had taken a 10,000 square feet plot in the same project for Rs 14.5 crore. So far they have spent around Rs 90 crore on land in Mandir Nagar. Looking at land as an inheritance, on this investment, Chairman of ‘House of Abhinandan Lodha’, Abhinandan Lodha said, Amitabh Bachchan’s investment reflects our confidence in seeing land as an asset that retains value from generation to generation. There is a combination of faith and heritage in Ayodhya. Due to the development of infrastructure, the city has emerged as an attractive destination for investment. Apart from Ayodhya, which has invested Rs 10 crore in Alibaug, Big B has also invested Rs 10 crore in ‘Soul De Alibaug’ project of Alibaug. There he has purchased 10,000 square feet of land. Bollywood actresses Kriti Sanon and Kartik Aryan have also purchased their plots in the same project of Alibaug. Prices have increased 4.5 times in 5 years. There has been a big jump in the prices of land in Ayodhya in the last 5 years. After the international airport, better road connectivity and construction of Ram Mandir, land rates on the banks of river Saryu and around the Ram Mandir corridor have increased more than 4.5 times between 2020 and 2025.
