Rapper Badshah’s club sealed in Chandigarh: Construction done more than the approved map, not removed despite several notices – Chandigarh News

Famous rapper Badshah’s Sago Club located in Sector-26, Chandigarh has been sealed by the building branch of the administration at around 9:30 am on Tuesday. Notices were issued to club operators several times for violation of building rules. They were instructed to remove the deficiencies within the stipulated time and follow the rules, but this was not done. After this the building branch team reached the spot and took up sealing action. According to the administration, a case was going on for a long time in the club regarding some violations related to building rules and approved map. Due to lack of satisfactory response and compliance despite repeated notices being sent, the decision was finally taken to seal the club. This is the same club, which has been in the news before due to a big controversy. It was revealed through social media that gangsters Goldie Brar and Rohit Godara had taken responsibility for the blasts outside the club. Heavy construction was done different from the approved map. According to the administration, after the map which was approved for the club, additional construction was done inside. Regarding this, a notice was issued by the Building Branch to the club operators and instructions were given to remove the illegal construction. However, the construction was not removed within the stipulated time. After this, on Tuesday, the Building Branch team reached the spot in the presence of police and took action and sealed the club. There was an explosion outside the club 2 years ago. About two years ago, there were explosions outside two clubs located in Sector-26. Responsibility for this incident was taken by Lawrence Gang. A post in the name of gangster Goldie Brar had also appeared on social media, in which the reason for the blasts was alleged to be non-payment of protection money. The blasts took place outside Seville Bar & Lounge and D’Ora Club. In this incident, the glasses outside the clubs were broken. Famous rapper Badshah is also a partner among the owners of Seville Bar & Lounge. A post on social media quoting Goldie Brar claimed that the owners of both the clubs were approached for protection money. The post said that calls and messages from them were not responded to, following which the blasts were carried out. It was also claimed that those who are ignoring his calls should take this as a warning. However, the matter was investigated by the police and security agencies.
