Gun culture ban in Punjab: It is noteworthy that the Mann government has completely banned the gun culture to control the increasing trend of weapons and to improve law and order. In the year 2022, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had issued very strict and clear orders regarding keeping the gun, carrying it and displaying it. All eyes on police action: According to the new rules, aerial firing at weddings, parties or any other social functions is considered a serious and non-bailable offense in Punjab. The police are immediately registering a case and taking strict legal action against those who violate the rules.
