Actor and stand-up comedian Veer Das has made it clear amid the Bengal election results that he is not a Bengali. Actually, because of Veer Das’s surname, many people consider him to be a Bengali. Ending this confusion, he clarified that even though his name has ‘Das’ behind it, he does not belong to Bengal. The actor’s real connection is from UP-Bihar. While revealing his identity, Veer made it clear that he is actually half from Uttar Pradesh (UP) and half from Bihar. Due to Veer’s surname ‘Das’, people often get confused between North Indian and East Indian states. Veer made it clear that he has no direct family connection with Bengal politics or the events there. He thought it right to clear this misunderstanding at a time when people were dragging him into political debates.
