In the results and trends of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, Tamil actor Thalapathy Vijay’s party ‘Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam’ (TVK) has emerged as the largest party by leading on 110 seats in its very first election. Actors from Bollywood and South film industry have started congratulating Vijay on this victory.

Film stars said ‘historic achievement’ While sharing a photo with Vijay, actor Nikhil Siddharth wrote that coming out of the cinema industry and leaving such a big mark in politics is a historic achievement. Filmmaker Venkat Prabhu has described Vijay as ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT).

Close to majority in the first election Vijay’s party TVK has crossed the 100 seats mark in its very first election contest. According to Election Commission trends, the party is leading on 110 seats. 117 seats are required to form the government in Tamil Nadu and Vijay’s party is very close to this magical figure. The special thing is that TVK has also become the party with the highest vote share in the state. This performance is considered quite big for a new party.

Left acting and entered politics Thalapathy Vijay had announced the formation of his party TVK in the beginning of the year 2024.
