There may be problems in the shooting of SS Rajamouli’s most awaited film Varanasi. The shooting of this film is going on in Hyderabad Filmcity. For some scenes of the film, the makers had to build a pond, for which they needed thousand liters of water, but now the Water Supply Board has refused to do so. Shree Durga Arts, the production company of the film Varanasi, had recently written a letter to the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board demanding 150 water tankers to build a pond in the Film City located at Gaganpahad in Rajendranagar. In the letter taken by the production to the Managing Director of the Board, Ashok Reddy, it was said that the company will also pay them tanker rent for water. However, the letter has been rejected by the board. According to the report of Navbharat Times, a pond has already been built on the set, in which 150 tankers with a capacity of 10 thousand liters per tanker were to be used. The water had to be purified for the shooting to be held on May 18. But in view of the increasing water crisis due to summer, the Water Supply Board has rejected all the demands for production. It remains to be seen how the makers will now meet the demand for water and continue the shooting after the letter is rejected by the board. The film Varanasi 7, being directed by SS Rajamouli, is scheduled to be released in April 2027. Priyanka Chopra is making a comeback in Indian cinema with this film. Mahesh Babu is going to be seen in the lead role with her in the film.
