Comedian Sunil Pal reached Meerut to identify the kidnappers in his kidnapping case. He identified two accused in the court on Monday. Sunil said that I am very scared after the kidnapping incident. Now I feel scared even to go out.
After leaving the court, Sunil Pal told the media that he was under a lot of tension for the last one year. His weight has reduced by 10 kg. Now even in Mumbai, if anyone is present around him, he looks at him with suspicion.

Now read the whole matter…. Famous comedian Sunil Pal was kidnapped in Meerut in December 2024. A ransom of Rs 8 lakh was demanded from him. Sunil was called on the pretext of an event in Haridwar and kidnapped from National Highway 58. He was kept hostage for 24 hours.
Ransom of 20 lakhs, deal made for 8 lakhs After kidnapping Sunil Pal, the miscreants had demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh. But later this amount was fixed at eight lakhs. This amount was transferred online to the miscreants.
The miscreants collected ransom money by threatening Sunil Pal. After being released from their clutches, Sunil Pal reached Mumbai directly. Then the family was informed about the incident there. After this, his wife lodged a zero FIR there which was later transferred to Meerut.
Sunil Pal’s kidnappers were caught on CCTV camera at the jewellers.
The criminal was caught after the encounter Sunil Pal’s kidnapping case had reached Lucknow. After this Meerut Police became active. The entire planning was done in Bijnor. After this, the police arrested many miscreants one after the other.
The Scorpio car used in the crime, Rs 2 lakh in cash and mobile were also recovered. The main accused Arjun Karanwal was arrested after the encounter. Till now all 10 accused have been arrested in this case.

- Ankit Pahari, son of Ravi Khanna, resident of Sai Mandir, Kotwali city, district Bijnor.
- Shahabuddin alias Sebi, son of Salimuddin, resident of Kotwali, district Bijnor.
- Azim son of Salim resident of Mohalla Kassawan Kotwali city, District Bijnor
- Akash alias Deependra Gola, son of Asaram, resident of Mohalla Chachari Kotwali city, district Bijnor.
- Shiva son of Lekhraj resident of Chahasiri Kotwali city district Bijnor
- Shivam alias Shubham, son of Rakesh Kumar, resident of Chamarpera Kotwali city, Kotwali police station, Bijnor.

Sunil Pal is a comedian, actor and voice artist. Sunil has been the winner of Great Indian Laughter in the year 2005. After winning the show, Sunil again started working in films. Till now he has done standup comedy in about 51 shows.
Sunil was born in Maharashtra. He came to Mumbai in the year 1995. Here he studied from Janta Vidyalaya City Barach Ballarpur School. Sunil used to do mimicry and comedy since his college days.
After winning the Indian Laughter Show, Sunil got offers for many films. He has played roles in Hum, Phir Hera Pheri, Apna Sapna Money-Money, Bombay to Goa, Money Bank Guarantee, Main Hoon Rajinikanth, Dirty Politics and Teri Bhabhi Hai Pagle Movie.
