At the end of the story, the detective (Ranveer Singh) returns to his country, so the story ends there. However, he also added that ‘Dhurandhar’ is a big franchise. It can be made any time in the future with another story and other actors. Rakesh Bedi’s character ‘Jamil Jamali’ in the film was a big surprise for the audience. Rakesh said, this was a big highlight for the audience. We knew this would cause a stir. After the success of Part 1, the audience’s perspective had changed. People were not just going to watch the movie, but they were also very excited to know what happens in Part 2. Now the same audience is demanding Part 3. History created at the box office: ‘Dhurandhar’ franchise has broken all the records of earning at the box office. Both the films together have collected more than Rs 3,000 crore worldwide. The first film, which released in December 2025, had a gross collection of around Rs 1300 crore. Whereas ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, released in March 2026, has become the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 1100 crore mark at the domestic box office. It has earned more than Rs 1700 crore so far at the worldwide level.
