Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh visited the memorial of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur on Friday. He paid tribute to him and talked to senior officials of the organization. PTI reported that the actor paid tribute to RSS’s second Sarsanghchalak MS Golwalkar at his memorial in Nagpur. Ranveer Singh reached Nagpur by chartered flight from Mumbai at around 4 pm. After this he went straight to the Hedgewar Smriti Mandir complex in Reshimbagh, which is a major place associated with the RSS. Here he spent some time and discussed with senior members. India Today’s report on discussions with senior Sangh officials quoted sources as saying that the visit was short but important. He held talks with RSS officials on a range of topics, although details of these discussions have not been made public. The tour received special attention due to the presence of the actor. Airport authorities also confirmed their arrival and departure. Ranveer Singh returned back to Mumbai at around 8 pm. Met Mohan Bhagwat According to the Times of India report, Ranveer Singh met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur. This meeting took place at the RSS headquarters, although the organization has not issued any official statement. RSS has confirmed his visit to Smriti Bhawan in Reshimbagh. However, the purpose of his visit has not been made clear. It is noteworthy that earlier Ranveer Singh had issued a video message conveying his best wishes on the occasion of completion of 100 years of the establishment of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
