Justice Sharmila Deshmukh gave this order while maintaining the old decision of Dindoshi Court. With this decision, Rajesh Khanna’s family i.e. Dimple Kapadia, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna have got legal relief.
In fact, Anita Advani had publicly claimed that she had been the actor’s companion for the last several years. He had demanded a share in the property and a house to live in.

The court had said- this relationship is not like marriage Earlier in the year 2015 also, the Bombay High Court had quashed the ongoing domestic violence proceedings against Dimple Kapadia and her family. Then the court had made an important comment saying that the relationship between Anita Advani and Rajesh Khanna was not of the ‘nature of marriage’ under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Based on this comment, now their appeal for recognition of their marriage has also been rejected.
