Harry Potter web series teaser released: Hagrid’s return, glimpse of Harry meeting Hermione Granger; Will be released on Christmas 2026

After 8 blockbuster films from Warner Bros., now Harry Potter is making a comeback as a new web series. HBO has released the first official teaser of the series at a special event held in London.

This series will be based on JK Rowling’s first book ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ and will be released on Christmas of 2026. Dominic McLaughlin is playing the role of Harry Potter this time.

Teaser full of nostalgia, Hagrid’s return

The beginning of the teaser refreshes the same memories with which crores of fans are associated with their childhood. In this, Harry’s aunt is seen troubling him, but then the ‘admission letter’ coming from Hogwarts changes everything.

The teaser shows a glimpse of Hagrid and Harry’s meeting, as well as Platform 9¾, Harry’s first meeting with Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

In the teaser, Hagrid tells young Harry Potter, ‘Your parents were the bravest and kindest people I have ever met. He always did what he felt was right. ‘The next time I see you, it will be at Hogwarts.’ Ollivander also tells Harry, ‘Mr. Potter, I think we can have very high expectations of you.’
