Nora clarified on the song
Nora Fatehi, who came into controversy regarding the song, issued a statement on Wednesday saying that she was made to shoot the entire song by telling her it was a wrong translation in Kannada and then the song was made in Hindi without her permission.
Nora had posted a video on social media and said, I want to discuss the controversy related to this song. At this time I am shocked by the death of my close one. I wasn’t on the network, so I didn’t know what was going on. Today I came to the network and got information about this. I want to clear up a few things.
He said,
I shot this song in Kannada three years ago. Which is part of a separate industry, which is called Sandalwood. When I shot this song 3 years ago, I said yes to it because it was a part of a big film, starring the big icon Sanjay Dutt. Who would refuse to work with him? It was a remake, I am the villain and not the hero, as I thought. That was also an iconic song.

Nora further said,
When I was shooting this song, I was completely dependent on the makers for translation. When he translated the song, there was nothing vulgar or inappropriate. I don’t understand Kannada, so I followed whatever he was saying. What they did now is that they made that song in Hindi and got it dubbed, the lyrics of which are really very inappropriate, I had no idea about it. He did not take any permission from me for this, nor did he tell me. When I was invited to the launch event, I saw that Kannada song, which was lyrical, had my photos included in it.

Nora Fatehi made serious allegations against the makers Nora also made many serious allegations against the makers in the statement. He said, the makers made that lyrical video without my approval. After this he made a photo of me and Sanjay Dutt, which is AI generated. I’m already against AI. I became very irritated at the event itself. I am responsible for this thing. There was presence of people there. There was media presence. There were those people who gave me a chance. I was very trapped inside. When I saw a Hindi song there, I understood that I am not in it.
I understood that this was going to be a problem because at least I understand Hindi. I told the director that this was not right. I said that this is going to cause a lot of criticism. I said I don’t promote it. I said that my image and reputation are at stake.

Nora had said that when such incidents happen, the media should actively publish the names and photographs of those filmmakers.
Nora said- I am not Nepokids, we do not have power behind us. In the video, Nora had also said at the end, we are artists. Especially artists like me who do not have any backup, we are not nepokids, we do not have any kind of power behind us. We are just individuals and we only have an audience with us. We have very little power. We have very little control.
He said,
Luckily, I am lucky that I have worked with people in Bollywood who respect my opinions. Who respect my creative call. Those who listen to me. However, we are not listened to in some industries. They don’t care about my opinion. After this backlash he had to remove that song. I am thankful for this thing.

In the video, Nora had said to the media that when such an incident happens, the media should actively publish the names and photographs of those filmmakers, so that they can take responsibility and scare them.

There is no reaction from Sanjay Dutt on this controversy yet.
