Ban on entry of non-Sanatanis: The committee has made complete preparations to stop the entry of non-Sanatanis in Badrinath and Kedarnath Dham during the Chardham Yatra. In the press conference held in Dehradun, committee chairman Hemant Dwivedi said that already existing traditions in this subject have also been studied. He told that after reviewing the arrangements implemented during the time of Shankaracharya, the temple committee has decided that the system of barring the entry of people who do not believe in Sanatan Dharma will be implemented. 2. It is prohibited to carry a mobile phone within 60 meters of the temple premises. The temple committee has decided that no person will be able to carry a mobile phone within a radius of 50 to 60 meters from Kedarnath-Badrinath Dham. This rule will not be limited only to the devotees, but will also apply equally to the officials of the temple committee and other rights holders. The temple committee says that this will help in maintaining discipline and controlling the crowd in the temple premises. 3. Separate places will be set aside for photography. New arrangements regarding mobile and photography are also being implemented in the temple premises. The committee has decided that special places will be earmarked for photography in the Dhams.
