Tamil actor Thalapathi Vijay is in the news these days regarding his personal life. On one hand, he is going through a divorce with his wife Sangeeta Soranalingam, while on the other hand, there are speculations about his affair with actress Trisha Krishnan.
The news of the affair has now become more popular after the social media post of Vijay’s bodyguard Arun Suresh. Fans are seeing this post associating it with the relationship between Vijay and Trisha. However, no official statement has come from the actor on this yet.

Vijay’s bodyguard Arun Suresh wrote on Instagram Story, ‘Now is the time to rise above rumours.’ He also created a fire emoji together. However, after some time he deleted this story, but by then its screenshots went viral on social media.
Soon after this, Arun shared another photo in which Vijay was making the ‘Heart’ sign. Fans are seeing this as a seal of approval on his relationship with Trisha.

This entire controversy escalated further when Vijay and Trisha were seen together at a wedding ceremony in Chennai on March 5. Both of them entered the venue together, the video of which is going viral on social media.
In the video, Vijay is seen holding a bouquet in his hand and Trisha is seen walking behind him. The special thing was that both of them had arrived in matching looks and after attending the wedding, they left together.
Sangeeta made allegations of extra marital affair
Thalapathy Vijay and Sangeeta are headed for divorce after 27 years of marriage. Sangeeta had filed a divorce petition in Chengalpattu Family Court in December 2025. He had alleged in the petition that Vijay had an illicit relationship with an actress and that he had cheated Sangeeta.
However, no official statement has yet come from Vijay or Sangeeta on these allegations and divorce news.

Vijay’s wife Sangeeta was his big fan earlier. The two met during the shooting of a film in 1996 and gradually fell in love. After this, both of them got married in August 1999. Both of them had married in both Hindu and Christian religions during that period.
In 2000, the couple gave birth to their first child, named Jason Sanjay, while in 2005, their daughter was born.
