A case of sexual harassment has been registered in Kerala against Chidambaram S Poduval, director of the superhit Malayalam film ‘Manjummel Boys’. Kochi’s Ernakulam South Police registered a case based on a complaint by a woman on Sunday, officials said on Monday, PTI reported. The complaint pertains to an alleged incident that occurred in 2022. According to the police, it is alleged that he forcibly entered the woman’s apartment in Ernakulam and sexually assaulted her. The case has been registered under sections 74 and 75 of the Indian Judicial Code. According to officials, the statement of the complainant was taken before registering the case. He said that a notice will be issued to the film director for questioning. However, Chidambaram has not yet responded to these allegations. Who is Chidambaram S Poduwal? Chidambaram S Poduval is a Malayalam film director and writer. He has directed the films ‘Jan.E.Man’ (2021) and ‘Manjummel Boys’ (2024). Chidambaram got special recognition from Manjummel Boys.
