Deepika Kakkar fears liver cancer again: 13 mm cyst detected, became cancer free after operation last year

Actress Deepika Kakkar, who once defeated cancer, is again afraid of getting liver cancer. Last year, the actress had second stage liver cancer. In June 2025, 22 percent of his liver and gallbladder were removed in a 14-hour surgery. However, now the actress has again developed a cyst, due to which the actress is scared. Deepika Kakkar and her husband Shoaib Ibrahim recently told in their new vlog that the actress had severe stomach pain on February 20, after which she reached the hospital. On CT scan, it was found that there was a 13 mm cyst in the stomach. Shoaib said in the vlog, ‘Till yesterday everything was fine, he had stomach pain for two days. The pain increased last night. We went to the hospital. Doctors said let’s do a CT scan. A little bit, call it a cyst or something else, it has become 13 mm. On this Deepika said, ‘For now they are calling it a cyst. I am having the same pain in my stomach as well as my shoulder since last two days. So that was alarming for both of us. Don’t know why this is happening. Shoaib said, ‘What we feared was that the doctor had told us last time that the poorly aggressive tumor that we had had, had a chance of recurring. But it is still early stage. The PET scan that was done in December was not there at that time. The treatment of the actress will start soon. In the vlog, Shoaib-Deepika have told that as per the advice of the doctors, her treatment will start soon. There will be no major surgery for this. The cyst will be burned using a laser. For this the actress will have to be admitted to the hospital for 3-4 days. His procedure is going to happen on Tuesday i.e. 24th February. Last year, she was diagnosed with stage-2 liver cancer. Actress Deepika Kakkar was a part of Celebrity Master Chef last year. However, he left the show after his health deteriorated. He was having severe pain in his shoulder. During investigation, it was revealed that there was a cyst as big as a tennis ball in his liver. Investigation also revealed that this is a type of cancer. In June 2025, the actress underwent a 14-hour operation, in which 22 percent of her liver and gallbladder were removed. The actress had become cancer free. However, now they fear that they may have to face this again.
