Actor Sohail Khan recently told that he wanted to name his elder son ‘Ram Khan’, but after the birth of his son, Seema Sajdeh named him ‘Nirvan’. He shared this during a conversation in the reality show ‘Alliance’. Ali Goni, who came to the show as a wildcard contestant, praised the upbringing of Sohail and Seema and said that their children have very good values. On this, Sohail told that before the birth of their first child, he and Seema had jokingly decided that if they had a son, he would name her and if they had a daughter, she would name Seema. Sohail said that he wanted to name his son ‘Ram Khan’ and described it as an example of the secular thinking of his family. However, when Seema regained consciousness after the birth of her son, the first thing she did was name the child ‘Nirvana’. Sohail said that after that moment he did not want to change the name. He also said that Nirvana’s nature is as calm and balanced as its name. Good bonding between Sohail and Seema is visible in the show. After Seema’s entry in the show, a good bonding is being seen between the two. Welcoming Seema, Sohail had said that he has spent 25 years with this beautiful woman and if any mistake happens in the relationship, he takes responsibility for it. Seema also expressed her affinity towards Sohail. When host Kunal Khemu asked him about his ally in the game, he said that at present Sohail is his only ally. Sohail fell in love with Seema at first sight. Soon both of them started dating each other. But due to different religions, Seema’s family was against this relationship. On March 15, 1998, the day Sohail’s first directorial venture ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ was released, both of them ran away from home and got married. First they took the rounds in the Arya Samaj temple and then got married. Their first son Nirvana was born in 2000 and second son Yohan in 2011. The couple separated in 2022.
