After the theatrical release, the film will be streamed on ‘WAVES’ OTT platform from July 18, 2026. During an event he met a man who proudly introduced him to his first, second and third wives. These three wives belonged to different communities. According to Bokadia, the hesitation and pain seen on the face of the third wife at that time shook him to the core. After this incident, he decided to make a film on this sensitive subject. The story will force you to think about women’s rights. C. Bokadia says that ‘Teesri Begum’ is not just a film, but it is a mirror to our society. This story inspires the audience to think seriously on the status of women and their rights in the society.
