While speaking to Times of India, reacting to the matter, his co-star Madirakshi Mundle said, ‘I have just come to know about this. Currently, the shooting of my family track is going on in the show, so there will be no impact on the shooting as of now. I don’t want to say much on this matter. Just hope that everything will be fine soon. He further said that it is important to listen to both the sides before reaching any conclusion. Right now only one side has come to light, so we should wait for the whole truth to come out. Kishori Shahane had also reacted. Earlier, another co-star of ‘Sairab’ Kishori Shahane had reacted on Rohit’s arrest. Speaking to Tellychakkar, he said that when he read this news, at first he thought it was a part of the promotion of the show, as a similar track is going on in the serial. But later it came to light that the matter was true. He said that currently the shooting of the show is going on normally and he does not have much information about this matter. Rohit Chandel arrested in POCSO case. Actually, Rohit Chandel was arrested for molesting and stalking a minor. Apart from this, he was also accused of assault. According to the Times of India report, a complaint was filed against Rohit on July 10 under the POCSO Act (Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses). On July 10 itself, he was arrested from his house in Dahisar and presented in the special POCSO court. Pant Nagar police station has also invoked sections 78 (stalking) and 115(2) (intent to cause hurt) of the Indian Justice Code against the actor after receiving a complaint by a minor resident of Mumbai’s eastern suburbs on Friday. The actor is accused of repeatedly harassing the minor girl by calling her from his number. When the minor stopped picking up his phone, the actor started harassing him by calling repeatedly from another number. According to the complaint, on July 5, Rohit tried to forcefully stop the girl near her house and later chased her. When the minor protested, the actor abused and beat him while arguing.
