According to the newspaper report shared by Bittu, the incident took place in Bahadurpur village of Gurdaspur district. It has been told in the report that on February 10, 1991, terrorist Shamsher Singh Shera and his associates associated with ‘Khalistan Commando Force’ (KCF) killed the parents of 17-year-old Sarabjit Kaur. After this the girl was allegedly abducted at gunpoint. Shera is said to be a resident of Majri Kishnewali village in Amloh area of Fatehgarh Sahib district.
According to the report, Sarabjit Kaur was kept hostage for several days at different farms and unknown locations. During this period she was raped repeatedly. Later, Punjab Police conducted a raid on the basis of secret information. According to the report, Shamsher Shera was arrested in this action and the victim was freed from his possession.
