Famous Punjabi singer Kaka reached Jantar Mantar to support the voice of youth. From the stage, he encouraged the youth and presented poetry/songs in his special style. Through this he raised sharp questions about the current system, falling value of rupee, sycophancy and media.
‘Don’t talk about bugges, the atmosphere is different today’
Singer Kaka was welcomed with applause as soon as he reached the stage. During this, the crowd started requesting his famous song ‘Bagge-Bagge Bille-Bille…’. On this, Kaka stopped him and said, “Tell me in the comments, he will come. Hey, don’t talk about buggies, the atmosphere is different today.”
Want to present something different considering the environment
He said that he mostly writes Punjabi songs, but considering today’s environment, he wants to present something different. He told that some lines were demanded and he too had thought in advance as to what would be better on this occasion.

“Every day rupees and dollars fall further, Don’t say flattery, say something else. I have written all the false news and praises about you, By doing this you will not get any newspaper published. Yes, if I am wearing a khaki color then please let me go. “Eh bande bande kha jaande, dakar nahi lande.”
Said in a funny tone – ‘Don’t get my wife beaten’
After taking a jibe at the system and the media, Kaka jokingly said something to the organizers and the youth to lighten the atmosphere. He laughingly said, Meri na manji kutwa diyo chheti-chheti (Don’t get my cot erected quickly/don’t get me beaten). Hearing this from the singer, the crowd present there laughed and the atmosphere became lighter for some time.
The enthusiasm of the agitators doubled
Kaka encouraged the protesters by supporting the leaders of the movement and the popular faces among the youth who were taking the stage. Kaka’s presence among the huge crowd of youth increased the enthusiasm among the agitators. From the stage, he supported the youth’s struggle and their demands, calling them legitimate.
At the same time, the students sitting on strike have made it clear that until strict action is not taken against the paper leak mafias and concrete steps are not taken regarding employment, their voice will continue to be raised from Jantar Mantar. With the support of big artists, this movement is now getting more discussion at the national level.
