Colors’ new show ‘Bareilly Ke Bachchan’ tells the story of a family dealing with relationships, dreams and everyday complications. The lead actors of the show, Praveesh Mishra and Ramnik Kataria, in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, talked about the preparation of their characters, the specialty of the show, funny stories from the shooting and the changing trend of family drama. He said that this show will feel like the story of an ordinary family to the audience.

Question: What is the biggest similarity between Krishna and real life?

Answer/Entry: The biggest similarity between Krishna and me is that we both have unwavering faith in God.

Question: Ramnik, how will you describe Sangam in one line?

Answer/Delightful: Ambitious, independent and absolutely real.

Question: Praveesh, what was it about ‘Bareilly Ke Bachchan’ that made you immediately say yes?

Answer/Entry: An opportunity to play the character of Krishna and the character of a boy from UP.

Question: Did you do any special preparation for the character Ramnik, Sangam?

Answer/Delightful: Yes. I am from Delhi and my sister’s family, who has been working in our house for many years, is like the family of ‘Bareilly’s Bachchan’. I listened to the stories of his family, understood the atmosphere at home and created the character of Sangam from those experiences.

Question: Nowadays, family dramas are rarely seen. How do you think this show will connect with the audience?

Answer/Entry: I think the biggest strength of this show is its realness. Everyone is interested to know the story of the other house and this show will have the same feel. There is no showy drama in this, but the same everyday things and problems that happen in real houses. The audience will feel as if a camera has been installed in a neighbor’s house.

Question: Ramnik, according to you, is love or jugaad more important in a family?

Answer/Delightful: Love. However, in Sangam’s family, respect and other things are also given importance.

Question: Who has the most fun and pranks on the set?

Answer/Entry: I don’t do it.

Question: What was the funniest incident during shooting?

Answer/Delightful: A lot of fans had come during the shooting in Bareilly. Some people asked me to autograph their hands and chest. That was quite a funny moment.

Question: If Krishna gets a break from the Bachchan family for a day, what will he do first?

Answer/Entry: He will first go after Sangam.

Question: What can the audience learn from Sangam?

Answer/Delightful: Never give up chasing your dreams and ambitions. No matter how many difficulties come in the way or someone stops you, you should not give up.
