‘Kumkum Bhagya’ fame actress Shikha Singh recently shared an experience related to casting couch. Where a famous filmmaker tried to touch Shikha inappropriately, making her uncomfortable and placed his hand on her. In an interview to Tele Masala, Shikha said, “This happened to me only once. This was the first time I went for a film audition and it was also the last time I went for a film audition. When I reached there, the producer-director was sitting on the sofa. While talking, he slowly started coming closer to me. Then he put his hand here. I immediately got up and said, ‘Sir, it’s done.’ The actress told that during further conversation he was saying that look, this will happen in the film. You are heroine material. She told, “During this time he placed his hand on me. I immediately stood up. He asked, ‘What happened?’ I said, ‘No sir, I remain standing, you talk.’ He said, ‘No, sit, sit, all this happens.’ I replied, ‘Sir, if all this happens then I will not be able to do it.’ Shikha never auditioned for any film again and said that she refused to do the film and immediately left from there. After this incident he did not audition for any other film and decided to work in the TV industry. He did not reveal the name of the producer-director, but said that he was a well-known filmmaker. Shikha worked in many TV shows. Shikha Singh started her acting career with the role of Cadet Aakriti Bhatt in the show ‘Left Right Left’. After this she appeared in shows like ‘Meri Doli Tere Angana’ and ‘Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan’. In the year 2010, she played the character of Amba Sangwan in ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’.
